Features
All features are fully automatic, and many are (or eventually will be) customizable:
- Lossless Blu-ray™ to MKV conversion
- Movie name detection
- Main movie playlist (.MPLS file) detection
- Metadata detection:
- Movie title, release year, etc.
- Cover art (movie poster) displayed in Windows Explorer (via Icaros)
- Chapter names
- Audio/video/subtitle track auto-select
- Customizable file name and output directory with variables for movie title, release year, horizontal resolution, etc.

Requirements
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1 (32- or 64-bit)
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
- ~20-50 GB of free disk space per disc
You can use a tool such as HandBrake to reduce the file size after muxing.
Copy Protection
BDHero does not circumvent AACS/BD+ copy protection in any way, as doing so would violate the DMCA.
BDHero is only intended for use with unencrypted Blu-ray Discs™.
